Advantages:1. lightweight2. nice color (although a little fluorescent for what I was looking for) 3. Features: stopwatch, night light, time zone, 12 or 24 hour format, date and time display. Cons: 1. The stopwatch doesn't stay on screen unless it's actively running. So if I pause the stopwatch and come back to it after a few minutes, I have to press a different button to go back to the stopwatch screen instead of just pressing 'Start'. ". Not what I want in a stopwatch function. 2. The buttons are small and difficult to press (two buttons together make it difficult to take my own split times while running or to start and stop the stopwatch when I cross the street after waiting (e.g. at traffic lights.) I had the previous model of this watch, the Sport model 1440. The Marathon model had the hole pattern on the strap changed, so the watch is now either too big or too small on my wrist for that Model was so comfortable that despite issues with the stopwatch and buttons it was a great watch, not so with the new watch I returned.
