I liked the product as it seemed easier to use than wire nuts and potentially safer. What most people don't know is that there is a very specific way to *properly* make connections with a wire nut. However, these handy items are a breeze to use, very quick to make strong connections and a lower profile than the nuts mentioned, making them easier to pack into narrow or cramped junction boxes. BUT! I've found that the tabs holding the connection EASILY pop open when you plug it back into the junction box. The tabs can catch on something and open, exposing a live wire and creating a potentially dangerous situation, especially if you don't double check your connections when you're done. So...YOU MUST wrap tape around the connector to prevent it from accidentally snapping into place. No big deal since I already do it with wire screws anyway. Yes, they're more expensive than wire nuts, but it's a lot easier to do a very neat job. Also, I like that each wire has its own connection instead of being tied together and hoping it stays in place.
