the part fell apart and the rear pillar fell off - quite a dangerous situation
This product has a design flaw. The metal used in the collar is much weaker (thinner band). As a result, after about a year of use, the part fell apart, and the rear pillar fell off - quite a dangerous situation. It looks like the welding held up, but the metals used to attach it to the seatpost were too weak.
