I wanted the keyboard to match my tablet and I needed a case so the combination seemed like a good idea. The case, unlike some reviews I saw, is not velvety, it may seem so, but some kind of plastic imitating washed jeans. I prefer this as it is easier to clean. Can't comment on durability yet, but it stays closed, allows for 3 different tablet tilts, and keeps the keyboard in place thanks to the keyboard's magnetic properties. As already mentioned, the case is a bit heavy, but that doesn't bother me. The pen can be attached to the top with a magnet or inside a case and will not fall out. Now the keyboard has exceeded my expectations. It connects to the tablet immediately (I have to select it on my laptop, but I suspect it has to do with laptop or OS permissions, not the keyboard). The most surprising aspect is that they are extremely comfortable to type on, mainly because of the rounded keys (I try the first rounded keys, but they are really important) and the perfect combination of key travel and the necessary pressure, soft but with travel. It is very thin and light which makes it more comfortable on my wrists. Sure, it's a bit narrower than the others, but I still use it as a wireless keyboard with my MacBook Pro and it works really well. The backlit keys are a nice added bonus, although they can drain your battery. I haven't figured out how to disable them, but others have, so it's possible. Volume buttons work, for Apple Command press Win+Command (c for cut, v for paste, etc.). The function keys don't work on my Mac. Again I bought it thinking that a keyboard integrated into the case might be handy in some cases, but the keyboard lived up to my expectations and the case is your regular case and feels solid so far.
