I really like this very much. I like to carry it like a backpack. It's so convenient. I HATE people who shop with their dog on a leash and go to grocery stores. I HATE THAT! And I'm not talking about service dogs, I'm talking about those who consider it the norm. It's disgusting! However, it does keep my dog off the ground and on my back when I decide to take him to the store. It was also easier to maneuver through the airport with my dog on my back than carrying him on my shoulder. The pulley works well too, but the backpack straps keep getting caught in the wheels. It fits nicely under an airplane seat. My only downside with this is that it has a piece that crosses over it. So if you lay it horizontally the dog can only stand on either side of this piece and that can be limiting for me. I wish I could remove a piece and put it back when needed. Finally, I have a small Chihuahua/Dachshund dog. It fits in, but I think it could use a little more room. Yes, he can sit or stand lying on my back. But there just isn't enough space around it. As if it would just fit. I can't imagine a big dog or cat in it. Other than that, it's GREAT! Definitely recommend.
