At first I thought it wouldn't work because the dial doesn't dial any numbers. It wasn't until I plugged it in and continued testing that I realized that you actually have to press the "Stop" rotary lever for each number in order to send an impulse to the tone. Very cool. In fact, "it's fully compatible with most cable networks that support pulse dialing," but also supports pulse-to-tone conversion for those that don't, such as: B. Triple Play from Comcast. The only downside is the quality of the speaker, but the speakerphone wasn't even thought of at the time of purchase, so that's an added bonus.
