Okay, MAYBE I'm really stupid, but I haven't been able to remove this cap in my entire life. I spent about an hour trying to break the seal and take it off. I tried it with scissors. I tried it with a screwdriver. I used all my weight. I ended up just taking a knife and cutting a square out of the bucket lid. Anyway I bought this to grow crystals and they look beautiful! They can be bundled well, keep the color brilliant and are very transparent. So this is an amazing crystal growing product. The only downside is the bucket, but that's not too bad for me. I'm really excited about all the crystal sculptures I can make out of this big bucket of borax. I also see reviews from people saying they drink it? Do not do that. It is dangerous and toxic (like all borax) and will do more harm than good to your body.
