Review on TOUGH 1 Polar Waterproof Turnout Blanket by Sonya Murphy

I ordered two of these blankets last year, of different weights, and the lighter one was torn to shreds by other horses. Duration less than 15 hours. Luckily the rest of the winter was mild and I didn't have to use the heavier one I also bought. I have put my horse in a private paddock with another horse and he is doing much better. She wore it for about a week and it is holding up very well, she rode in it and moved like a normal energetic horse. The other horse won't bite him, so I'm sure he'll last all winter. If your horse doesn't rip blankets and is let out with horses that don't bite blankets, it's a good horse for the price. If your horse is higher in the "hierarchy" that's okay too. So I'm giving it 3 stars because it's a good price and quality, but it's not exactly "tough", at least against destructive and determined horses!
