Review on 🔍 White Natural Gas & Propane Leak Detector: Effective Household Gas Detection by Allen Hart

Sometimes the gas stove stays on by accident so I bought it for propane detection. I placed the detector next to two burners that were giving off propane and it never registered (I left the burners on for about 15 minutes). I placed the detector on the floor under the stove (with an extension cord) and in the nearest electrical outlet, but the device didn't register in either of those places. Eventually I placed the unit on the burner when the gas was on and it finally registered. With these results I returned the first block and agreed to replace the same model but the result was the same. For me it was only functional when on gas but placed elsewhere and the house was filled with propane while the unit was on "0" all the time. I need something that will register a propane leak before we all pass out.
