The remote control never worked properly, don't waste your money

The "Switch" (cross) button on the remote control does not work at all. CH+ shifts channels down and CH- shifts channels up. All other buttons don't work at all. Was looking forward to using additional programmable buttons, but the default button doesn't even work. Useless junk, don't waste your money. i give it back
