If you want to raise or lower your finger quickly, it's a thumbs up. This is a full size roller suitable for large adult hands. Pros: It is made of very high quality parts. It's not cheap plastic etc and runs very quietly with a very good wheel and wheel lock. The lock is released at the push of a button and locked again by pressing the lock (difficult to describe). The design of the winder is absolutely worth 5 stars. Braided line (stronger than twisted) made of white and red Dacron (DuPont polyester). It is red in color intertwined with white for security reasons, e.g. when the leash is on the ground or the kite is flying and the kids are running, hopefully they will see it and not trip over it and hurt themselves. Cons: The swivel has a roller at the top but doesn't fully cover the line. Failure to do this could result in the line wrapping around the post. I plan on replacing the swivel with a type found on other winders or similar. If you look at the picture you will see that the cord does not wind right behind the handle. Instead you will see that there are holes. It seems like the space needed to attach a nice handle to it. This is only mentioned to let the buyer know that the side height is no higher than other reels and that the side height cannot hold more line than the extra line it can hold, simply because it is a larger reel diameter. The representation of the amount of line is very realistic when the tip of the line, when coiled, goes to about the center of the top hole with the 500ft 120lb Dacron line that came with the reel. This will be mentioned if a different cord is ever desired, e.g. B. a thicker and stronger line (for very large kites) or more line. My very rough estimate (but I'm no expert) is that it can stuff another 300 feet of the same type of line, so it can hold a total of 750 to 800 feet of 120 pound line. In the end I would buy it again.
