Review on SOLIOM S600: Advanced Home Security Camera with 360° Pan Tilt, Motion Detection, Solar Power, and Color Night Vision by Bill Russett

They sent me a new camera to test and I will update it. I love the settings, the app and the pan/tilt. The picture looks good but the scaling is digital only and poor quality. Night vision is also poor, and infrared rays penetrate the lens, revealing only the center of the image. It's well constructed, but it looks like it started raining three days ago and has now gone offline three times for hours, only to come back online a few hours later and apparently with no memory of the previous shots taken in the App are available. It worked fine for three days before it rained. I installed additional batteries and precharged them as described in the instructions. It went out again in the rain, although it started a few hours earlier today. The battery icon in the app indicated a full battery, and since I first connected it was constantly receiving light from the sky and the sun when it wasn't there. It's installed in a relatively dry area of my home, meaning it's not affected by roof runoff, only natural rainfall. I'm giving it two stars because I want them to make a better one that can actually handle the weather, has people detection, auto motion tracking, license plate reading, analog zoom, and ipx 67+. You can do it, Solium! It was a valiant effort and proof that you can make a camera with all these options, solar panels, and the new camera will be weatherproof!
