I've used SilBlades for many years and find them the best. But in recent years I haven't achieved the longevity that I had many years ago. Recent problems include a knock that appears to be due to the blade's angle to the windshield. So the generally accepted guideline is that you may need to bend the wiper arm to one side or the other to correct the angle. However, if the blade itself is really deformed, meaning that the corner of the rubber part of the glass is tilted to one side or the other, then bending the arm won't help much. And you can end up breaking your arm if you go too far. This is probably due to age and the heat. But I believe some blades are more prone to this warping problem. Bottom line, these new blades have solved the vibration problem as they don't "warp". At least for now! And I'm hoping that since the rubber on these blades is a bit shorter than on the power blades, there's less chance that they'll warp and start "leaning" to one side or the other instead of staying vertical, like when they were new. The time will show!
