They attach well to the top door hinge. No Whistle
I bought these to use on my 2006 Wrangler Unlimited when the doors are closed. They attach well to the top door hinge. No whistling, minimal vibration. The passenger rating doesn't bother at all. I added a stem collar to the flex to prevent the flex from cutting into my pivot bushing and used a nylon washer on the bottom to avoid scratching the bottom of the pivot. I also replaced the nuts with M8 x 1.25 nylon locknuts. Very happy with them.
