I started using it on my 5 month old baby first to use frozen breast milk for teething and then for weaning. This is a great way to teach kids to try new things without worrying about choking. We started with frozen bananas and strawberries, which worked well and will continue to try. It's also just a great way to keep the kids busy! I love that this product comes in multiple sizes. I started with a medium size because the small one seemed too small - he finished too quickly! Numerous parts are awkward to clean and I worry about losing them, but this looks like a durable product that will last well into childhood. It definitely seems more hygienic than mesh feeders.
