Very warm and ingenious that the cuff folds out to tuck extra material into sleeve to keep gloves tucked in and make it difficult for kids to take them off. However, the fluffy lining is not attached to the inside of the glove and is slightly pulled outward when the glove is removed. It's a little tricky to put back on properly (my 30 year old hands are a little too big to smooth the lining in toddler gloves) but overall the warmth the gloves provide is worth the little effort. Well, it's definitely not waterproof. Anyone who says they've used them in the snow must have been in dry, loose, rocky mountain snow, not wet, slushy northeast snow. These things get wet very easily.
