Yaktrax Tow Spikes

I live in Indiana and last year at work on rough ice I slipped and broke my wrist and shoulder. I've been unemployed for several months. I didn't want the same thing to happen again so I tried Yaktraks on the recommendation of my wife's aunt. We had very freezing weather last week, which is very common in Indiana winters. I found them to work very well on ice and packed snow and I felt completely confident. I bought 3 pairs as they are very affordable at Revain. I have one at home, one at work and one in the car. That way I won't be caught without them in bad weather. Addendum: I have purchased several different traction products for ice and snow with different aggressive traction devices. With rubber cross links surrounded by metal spools, Yaktrax is lightweight, easy to drive and can be used on indoor floors such as shops. I don't think they will damage the floor but be careful as they can be a bit slippery when walking on a linoleum like surface, especially when wet (as is often the case in winter weather). If possible, I recommend deleting when entering the store. For more dangerous ice or more safety on the ice, I would go for products with sharp metal tips pointing down; The only downside is that they cannot be carried indoors on the floor. Be careful with these products as well.
