I bought the small and medium set to try on both sizes and to organize my son's diaper bag. I was having trouble visualizing how big each size is based on the dimensions. If I only had one size I would choose medium for diaper bags. But the little one would probably fit in purses/backpacks. I plan on either painting the handle/strap or tying it with colorful ribbons so I can easily identify which bag I want to take out of the diaper bag. 2.5" wide at the bottom and the center opens to 3" wide at the bottom. I used the medium size for: 1. Quick diaper changes. It contains - 2 size 6 Huggies nappies (I think 3 would work too), holdall with tissues, Munchkin nappy liner dispenser and small tube of nappy cream.2. snack bag. We take a lot of individually wrapped snacks with us. Right now I have the following in my bag: 2 packs of PB crackers, 3 granola bars, 1 pack of Ritz-Bitz crackers, 1 pack of Plump Cheetos, 1 ziplock bag for food that opens instead of leaking out to help contain the crumbs. (I don't usually have Cheetos, they take up a lot of space. I usually have a small zippered bag of raisins and a bag of teddy graham or graham crackers. Everything would fit without Cheetos) 3. A change of clothes (not pictured). I managed to fit 1 set of clothes in size 2-3T. I tried summer clothes (shorts, t-shirt, socks) and winter clothes (sweatpants, long sleeve t-shirt, socks). Both fit well. With a small child, 2 or 3 overalls fit easily. I used the small size for: 1. My personal belongings. I said my smartphone (not pictured as pictured but made sure it fits), my keys, a small change/ID pouch and a medium sized wallet. I have a large wallet that stays in my purse, but I use a smaller wallet if I'm only carrying a diaper bag.) I was able to slip a tube of lip balm in there too. *** Also, I would probably sum it up and ditch the average wallet and just use a small pocket for money/ID/cc and ditch the charging cable for my phone.2. (Not pictured) While my toddler doesn't need small toys right now, my second baby, who is due in a few months, will. The small size is perfect for some small baby toys. I've also posted some reference size photos in case the items I used as a reference don't help what you intend to use them for. I hope this information is helpful!
