When you take a step, the role of the shoe changes from the heel to a flat spongy point in the middle. From dead flat center to toes. I have 4 other pairs of MBT rocker shoes and they roll all over the step. They look more like a pair of $30 Costco sneakers. I like my Costco shoes for the price but they don't do what a true rocker sole does for me. The best thing I can say about these MBT running shoes is that they fit. MBT should change the name of these shoes to "Beginner 2 Stage Baby Rockers".
