Gentlemen! I recently installed three recessed LED downlights from GE. I've done quite a few home improvements myself over the past few years, so I'm pretty good at installing these types of kitchen improvements. I feel that the design of these under counter "tools" could be improved in the following ways: 1. Pre-drill 2 to 4 additional holes in the base case. Once the base cabinet is secured under the cabinet using the pre-cut keyhole holes, it should be secured more firmly with additional screw holes to prevent the bracket from moving during cover/casing installation. These pre-punched holes help keep the unit in place, especially if you are doing the installation yourself. When attempting to install the cover/case, I knocked the base case out of the "keyhole" screw holes in the base of the case. Very disappointing! 2. Provide additional strain relief with screw connections. In my setup I installed three blocks that required two fittings, one "upstream" and one "downstream" with two knockouts.3. Consider making the units about 1/2 inch wider (not thicker) to better accommodate wiring accessories and 120VAC service cords. This will facilitate the installation of the cover/housing. I found that in my setup the three electrical "push-in" fittings were very close together making it difficult to install the cover/body without pinching the fittings and connecting wires. I found that without the additional lag screws suggested in point 1 above, it was very difficult to slide the cover/case onto the locking points without moving the main body out of the keyhole screw holes. is partially installed and the attachment to the underside of the chassis is lost, you will need to remove the entire hose to reattach the main body. Therefore the locking points will need to be replaced with other fasteners such as screws without the need to apply force to the cover/body . I have to admit that I used a few 4 letter words during this work which is why I wrote this review.
