At first I was hesitant about which size to choose and found the 30qt to be a good fit for my needs. In my opinion, the slightly more headroom is worth the slightly larger footprint, at least for an SUV. It's not as personal as I expected from the reviews which I saw in a good way. The device is very light and can be moved easily, at least when empty. Looks well made and feels sturdy. I like the ability to remove the insert for the larger shovel on this model, but kept it as it helps with organization. I used it as a freezer and it served its purpose well. It cools down quickly and runs very quietly even when the fan is running or the compressor is running. I've found the temperature readings to show a slightly lower temperature than the separate thermometer I keep in the freezer, although I only take this into account on the setting I set to compensate appropriately so this isn't a problem for me . I'd say it's a good idea to test this out for yourself to make sure you're storing food in a safe area, especially if you're using it as a fridge. Overall, I think the device is great, especially for the price. The low power consumption is particularly impressive and the size strikes a very good balance between functionality and portability. I realized that the more space I have, the more space I will use, which leads to clutter. That's enough to be useful, but not "too much". would recommend. T
