They're really nice, but I can't think of a use for them. Picking pimples in your ear is fun, but they don't clean it. Others really aren't very good - they don't remove mascara from eyelids and don't clean ears. They don't do very well as makeup or medicine applicators. I haven't tried it but I don't think they will do a good job of cleaning your bathroom columns, your cat or your keyboard, it's like trying to use an eraser. I think they might smudge the eyeliner. It is, and I can think of other ways to do it. This is not a substitute for cotton swabs. I don't know if there are sponges, cotton swabs or foam because they are all advertised as reusable "cotton swabs" which is frustrating because I would think a real reusable swab would be cool.
