Exact replacement for the compressor assembly on my 20+ year old Broan-Nutone model #676
started to make a loud noise after a few years of use. Easy installation. It took me 5 minutes to "push" my existing fan assembly against the inside of the metal fan housing with a flat head screwdriver. I then installed my new fan assembly and plugged it into a 120 volt outlet that was already in my existing metal fan case. A cable exchange is not necessary. The fan works great. Very low noise level.
