Just received today in perfect condition. Thank goodness because it would have left a bad impression if it had arrived broken. This Cretacolor Chunky Stick is a soft Nero stick that looks like a deep rich dark green forest shade. In any case, it goes very well on pastel paper, watercolor paper or normal Bristol paper. You can use these dry or wet. Let's get that straight. This stick is water soluble. Period. You can achieve beautiful blurred effects on your work by applying a water brush dipped in water to the pigment. There's just one odd detail on this floor. Cretacolor does NOT include this thick Nero pen in its 12 color set. It has charcoal and 8b graphite pencil but not Nero. You must purchase this stick separately to get the Nero Color Charcoal Stick. And the last detail. The Nero stick is just as heavy as the thick graphite stick, ie slightly heavier than the other colored thick sticks in the Cretacolor set.
