Warm is good for nights.
My daughter outgrew her newborn clothes at 1 month old. These fit well. A little big but she grows in them. We like them at night as they are easy to pull up and change the diaper to keep her too cold. We usually dress him in a sleeping bag to keep his feet warm, or underwear (I have a cold child). I especially like that the arms can be closed or open.
