I don't often write reviews, but this product exceeded my expectations. I have an iPhone 6 configured with an Apple USB3 camera port streaming Qobuz Hi-Res (16bit and 24bit) from a phone app directly to a Grant Fidelity TubeDAC-11 via USB. The USB3 camera port is known to have issues with how it determines the appropriate current levels it detects, which then affects whether USB3 CC even supports the device on the other end of the USB cable. In my setup with the TubeDAC-11, USB3 CC found that despite being a standalone device with its own power supply and all, it's not supported *unless I had a Lightning cable connected to the phone at the time powering time as if the phone was giving all the power to that swinging DAC/amplifier! I had to constantly power my phone for the USB3 CC to work. But it worked and I was happy! Well, until I quickly realized how cumbersome hi-res streaming was on my phone, since the pair of different Lightning charging cables I invariably used barely charged the phone positively unless I had the screen off; Do not watch or use the phone at the same time as streaming. So when I started browsing Revain reviews to choose a new charging cable, I came across this Lightningfast charger where some of the reviews specifically mentioned the higher charging power it delivered. I took a chance and when it arrived I started testing it. Within half an hour of a typical session of simultaneously listening, streaming Qobuz and watching TV on the phone, it became clear just how capable this charger was. It delivers excellent charging performance and saves me the anxiety I previously had with other cables, one of which is a genuine Apple cable. My eldest daughter keeps asking to borrow this cable to charge her later model iPad as the included charger barely provides an adequate charge. Power as long as it relies on it. This lightning-fast charger easily exceeds the demands that drawing apps place on your device. Time to order her one of her own!
