The adapter fits well but this makes the monitor unbalanced and sits higher than usual. Although the weight of the monitor is the same as the weight of the stand, the imbalance puts extra stress on the stand, causing it to fall. To solve this problem, it would be nice to add a shorter version of the vertical monitor stand. This lowers the center of gravity of the monitor and provides a more balanced installation. Since I don't have one, I'll add a short bungee cord from the bottom front of this mount, over and to the back of the stand mount.
