Great for old closet, new HD TV
I used this mount for a new 50 inch LCD TV that is too wide for the old wall box in my house. A large TV like this also requires the MOR/ryde TV1008H adapter plate for the larger VESA template to fit the back of the large TV. It was easy to install and assemble. The first unit I received had a similar problem as in the previous comment, the sliding horizontal bar fitted snugly into the vertical bracket and didn't slide after I hammered it. A quick call to MOR/ryde and they immediately sent me another unit at no extra charge. It works exactly as I planned and the customer support from MOR /ryde is outstanding.
