I have 1300 songs so it is important that this player remembers the song I was playing when I stopped, which means it doesn't start over every time. I also found out by reading the instructions that the player NEVER turns off. If you do that, it will start over when you turn it back on and reset all previous selections. So. When I'm done, I just press and hold the middle button for a few seconds and it properly turns off. To turn it back on, just press and hold the center button for a few seconds. During playback, the player turns off the screen. To turn the screen back on, just press any key and wait a second. Then you can select any function, e.g. B. increase or decrease the volume. Roughly a second pause or burst during song playback, but not often enough to be a problem. Good player!
