This is the best swing I've ever seen!
This swing is great in every way. The ropes are soft but strong and adjustable. The wood is very smooth and the seat pleasantly curved. The wood is not varnished so you will either need to apply varnish or apply a penetrating wood preservative. I decided to have several uses of Howard Feed-N-Wax and it looks and feels great. I don't leave the swing outside either, it's too pretty!
