almost perfect. It fits my thumb snugly and squeezes my thumbnail until it's very sensitive and then numb, but I think I can stretch it a bit. It immobilizes well so my thumb doesn't pop out and it's quite comfortable. I started with a $35 hard plastic thumb brace, but it was too loose and my thumb could move and click. When I broke my wrist, my old brace immobilized it well but wrapped it halfway around my forearm; it was too annoying in this summer heat. The one in the medical supply store in town was the worst! This seems to tick all the boxes. Time will tell how it holds up, but for now I'm happy.
