Review on 🔑 Aluminum Alloy Mechanical Keyboard Keycap Opener for Gateron Cherry MX Switches - Effortless Metal Switch Glide by Karl Swift

I purchased this product after I was unable to open my switches with a 3D printed PLA model. The printed plastic often broke at one of the four small notches that opened the switch. So far this product has not given me any trouble opening the switches. It takes cherry switches well to slide in place. After installing the switch, a small push is all it takes to open the housing. It has a matte feel with a slight sheen if that matters to anyone. Weighs like you would expect from an aluminum block. All in all, this is a great item to buy and will save you time opening 100+ switches. As a bonus, it comes with a keycap and switch puller. Note: It only fits Cherry switches and will NOT open Kailh switches as shown in the pictures. Shown for reference are Invyr Holy Panda shifters (cherry profile) and silver Kailh shifters.
