This filter gave excellent results right out of the box. I was excited. However, this does not last long. The ad says this is enough for a family of four for 4-6 months. NO. We had to replace the filter inside after THREE WEEKS of use and only two people use this shower. So yes it works, but certainly not for as long as they say. And if you buy the filters they link to, you're paying more than just buying the entire assembly over and over again. Edit: I've tried other brands and they don't work as well as this one. I'll keep getting them because they work, just not for as long as they could.
