The gift box itself is beautiful and very well made. It's made from durable, thick cardstock covered with black linen textured paper. The top has wide ribbon strips that thread through the slits to tie a double lid; The ribbon has metallic threads on the edges for added shine. I like the unusual geometric shape of the box. It comes with a strange gift bag. And by "weird" I really mean the embossed gold letters on it. It makes no sense. Without the weird text, this would be a great (useful!) addition to the box; this makes it easier to carry and protects the box from damage. I do not know, why they went the extra mile to add that weird feeling because it messed him up. It also came with some strange accessories. There are tiny balls of pastel colored styrofoam that are statically charged and will stick to anything. I would never use them for lining/wrapping my gift because they make a terrible mess almost as bad as glitter. There's also (inexplicably) a teddy bear tied to what looks like a microfiber cleaning cloth(?) and a tiny array of battery-powered lightbulbs. Yes, I have as many questions as you. I would give this box five stars but it came with a terrible stench. I mean bad. Terrible chemical smell that almost suffocated me. Since I unpacked it and let it air out, it has gotten better. but still not completely gone and guys it was BAD! Pooh. I would never use them for lining/wrapping my gift because they make a terrible mess almost as bad as glitter.
