I don't want to give them a star because it was such a low price but they really don't work that well. They didn't look dirty they looked very old and I tried to buy wire from them and they could break the wire and definitely leave unnecessary marks on the wire. Maybe if I sanded them smoother, but I don't really see it helping much as bits generally don't cut well. I think this would be a cute little kit if you have a 7-13 year old wanting to start making jewelry, but as with all tools I would keep an eye on them. Be aware of such a low price for a product like this if it's too good to be true because I don't know why I always play like this because 90% of the time you get what you pay for, or even worse. In any case, the images they are promoting are misleading as none of them were tiny silver but all were rather black. So if they were smeared with oil you wouldn't really recognize it because they look like a very old set.
