****Update 12/15/20 The company just contacted me (almost a year after the issue) and asked if I could remove the bad review and they paid me $14! The? What they should have done was offer to send me a free product so I can see the new improvements they claim they've made instead of buying my bad review here. I'm sure a lot of people will take the money, but I'd rather customers actually learn about the product through an HONEST review! First review - I bought one and installed it. First, there were no corner staples or alcohol swabs as can be seen in the photos and videos describing the product. After installation I noticed that the end where the power cord connected was broken so I ordered a replacement. The second came, I tested and installed it. It worked great for about a day and then the remote stopped working completely. Since I had two remote controls at the time, I tested both and checked the batteries. The remote controls were ok, this is part of the receiver on the bar. So now it's stuck on one color and the only way to turn it off is to unplug it. I'm sending it back too. I just got bad two sentences in a row? This is possible because all reviews are positive, although the company is good at finding unhappy customers and trying to fix the problem, so bad reviews might not show up. It's good that they try to solve all problems. I'm not sure I'll try installing another strip again.
