So, a few key points about these lights.1. During the day they look red/white, but at night they are very pink, like chewing gum (see video).2. The string of lights is as thin as a pencil. If you are looking for large string lights the size of a garden hose then this isn't it.3. There are 8 settings to choose from. Some are very similar. They are all battery operated (no need for sockets/extension cords - this can be a plus or a minus depending on your needs)4. Multiple lamps can be connected to one remote control. I had issues with the backlight not syncing with the remotes and they work fine. My tree in the video consists of 4 separate strands of light.5. You must be very close (about 60 cm) to use the remote control. The timer works great though. Just select the setting you want and press the timer if you only want them on once. They automatically stay on for 6 hours and then turn off for 18 hours. Ultimately, my only complaint is that they look pink at night. I love the features and light settings. Since we're going to be using the Candy Country theme, I'll probably buy more for more trees.
