If there is an opportunity to get hold of this brand of yarn, buy it! It's absolutely amazing. It is typically used for Brazilian embroidery but can be used for almost any form of surface embroidery. That's about the same thickness as a skein of DMC mill-cotton. Viscose can be difficult to work with, but it's not like silk thread. It is much easier. But you still get that beautiful shine.
