The camera and monitor system gives a clear and bright wide angle image of the area behind my car, in both daylight and darkness (best in low light Light). When the camera and monitor are off, the mirror provides a bright reflection in the rear window. If I wanted to improve the product it would be a windshield mount mirror/monitor (replacement mirror instead of attaching to existing mirror). The review process called for a "transparency" rating, which is not applicable to the car's rear-view camera and monitor system. Added 3/15/21: Visibility of the camera/monitor display in very bright daylight can be improved by toggling the dimmer switch/lever on the original mirror to move the rear window view away from the secondary mirror.
