You'll need to sync your Bluetooth keyboard with your iPad every time you use it, and once you close the lid you'll need to reconnect using both the keyboard and the iPad's settings. The trackpad interferes with typing, so everything you type suddenly disappears and even kicks you out of the application. Use your money wisely. Just buy a genuine Apple keyboard.
