Review on MCover Lenovo ThinkPad Carbon X1 Carbon 6G Laptop Accessories by Ananta Crowley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The only ThinkPad X1 6th Gen case I could find.

This is the only ThinkPad X1 6th Gen case I could find. Pros: + It fits the X1 without being too tight. I can probably remove it without breaking it. (I had a case for my MacBook that was very tight - difficult to remove. I ripped it.) + Nice blue color; it reminds me of the old IBM blue and the old NDS cobalt blue+. A little matte. (That's my preference. I find that many glossy plastics scratch more easily than matte ones.) While not too tight is a good thing, it's also a little annoying when I open the lid and I feel like the shell is twisting could solve. Don't get me wrong, although the top shell moves slightly when you open the lid, it doesn't come off; I don't think 99% of people will be affected. (Update: After a few days of use, the slight movement doesn't bother me anymore - some people might not even notice it.) - Your fingerprints will easily stick to its surface. Yes, its surface is matte, but fingerprints remain on it easily. Again, no big deal; You can delete the traces when you have time. (I had a case for my MacBook that is less prone to fingerprints.) - I find it expensive (compared to some MacBook cases), but it's (probably) the only case available for the X1 6th gen is. (With a MacBook you have a lot of choices. Competition/choice will likely lead to better MacBook case prices.) All things considered, as mcover seems to be the only one making a ThinkPad case if you want a case for the X1 6 generation, this is the only product available. what else can i say I'm relatively happy with my purchase.
