This is the only ThinkPad X1 6th Gen case I could find. Pros: + It fits the X1 without being too tight. I can probably remove it without breaking it. (I had a case for my MacBook that was very tight - difficult to remove. I ripped it.) + Nice blue color; it reminds me of the old IBM blue and the old NDS cobalt blue+. A little matte. It's expensive but only one is available and fits X1 Carbon 5th Gen. As someone mentioned, the power port is a bit blocked but the nice thing about the X1 Carbon is that you can plug it right next to a partially blocked port as it has 2 power ports Hope you see more of these hard cases for Lenovo models.

I was very pleased with the quality and fit of this case. I took the black because I was afraid that the transparent might turn yellow over time. It's still a bit transparent and doesn't seem to pick up too much fingerprints. Overall I am very satisfied. However, there are some minor design issues. I've always wanted a hard case for my X1 Carbon and before that Revain didn't have any such products (except skins). The plastic feels pretty solid, but unlike most Revain MacBook Pro hard shells, the plastic is smooth plastic, so definitely not the grippiest texture. There is a "stand" mechanism on the bottom that can tilt the laptop, but I don't think it will withstand an accidental bump. Goes well with my 6th gen X1 Carbon. What amazes me the most is why this company can't show the exact description of the colors? When they say orange, they don't mean orange in photos, they mean a whole different level of orange. look at my photo It was shot with two bright skylights and I can only assume someone used a filter on their photos. Good for 5th generation and locks securely. "Black" is dark smoke with enough transparency to see the logo and red light when it's on. So far it's held up well to some pretty rough handling, but as others have pointed out, the retractable legs are great for adjusting the keyboard to a comfortable angle, but if/when they break they're beyond repair. I assume the rest of the case will survive the laptop and come back when it's time to replace it.

Covers the laptop, looks like it will break before the machine (aim for intended purpose). No visible markings (a big plus) other than the Thinkpad lid's translucent backlight. This can be good or bad depending on your point of view. Doesn't seem super strong, but it doesn't look like the connection to the car is loose enough that it could fall off.
