Thing is, you can't take the paracord off and on, so it's hand wash ONLY. The straw situation is really weird, and I confess I just took it personally. It's also VERY heavy when full but doesn't leak, does everything advertised and love the options, just wish I could remove or add them on a whim. Overall a great product. Durable plastic with no taste. I'm happy with that.
