Very easy assembly. Not something I would use for heavy use, but for family photos and the like. Not sure how the tablet will fit as my Note 8 has trouble fitting in the clip but it holds up well and is stable when in place without tipping or tilting the phone. It is very light, so children, dogs, etc. can easily knock it over. I've bought pricier Ring light stands which have been a disaster by comparison, so I would definitely recommend this stand for a large smartphone or small tablet. The height is good for full length or full length photos and the height of the table and seat is good too. I like that you only have to attach one quick piece. This is really a great product for the money. Easy setup and disassembly make it ideal for portability. My only major downside: I had to download a separate app to use the remote control. Not a big deal, but the last thing I need is another app with permissions to access my photos.
