Review on FRIGIDAIRE Professional 30-Inch Gas Cooktop: Stainless Steel, 5 Burners & Propane Convertible by David Foster

Absolutely gorgeous stainless steel hob with real cast iron grids. The towels are very easy to clean. Also included was a bottle of stainless steel cleaner/conditioner and a really nice cast iron skillet/grill (neither mentioned in the item description). We bought an almost identical pan for a family member for Christmas and it cost us $50 so it was a cool surprise. The installation is clear and simple. True to size 30 inches, it fits snugly in our old JennAir electric hole. One thing that annoyed me is that it took me a long time to figure out what the difference is between this (pro) version and the identical but cheaper $200 "Gallery" version. I even checked the Frididaire website itself and compared the technical manuals. The best I could find was that the pro uses more real metal and the steel is stainless. I hope I didn't waste $200 hoping for better quality. My be-all and end-all The complaint about the item itself is that the handles were covered in a scratch resistant adhesive sheet and left a mark when removed which was a little difficult to remove without scratching the handles. Baby wipes and some elbow grease did the trick though. I've had it not too long ago, but starts up easily every time, constant, steady flame. I'll update if I ever have trouble with it.
