The manufacturing tolerances on this clamp are terrible. Sloppy quality results in extra edges that easily snag or snag on things that normally wouldn't snag. For example, the silicone belt clip has an extra millimeter of width on each side of the plastic cap. This will cause the silicone portion of the belt clip to wear prematurely, making it easy to break. Mine only lasted 2 months with gentle use compared to the 10-12 months I got from the Fitbit clamp. The clamping gap width is also noticeably wider compared to the Fitbit clamp. Since I clip mine to my jeans, the extra clip width works great for me. But my wife strapped it to her bra which is made of a much thinner material so the clip didn't hold. On the plus side, at least they were cheap. But at this price, buying this clip back at a great price will cost me more than an overpriced Fitbit clip.
