You really can use HTV…

I always read reviews hoping they are honest. Before I used HTV I contacted the seller for temp settings. They said 140C which equals 284F. These totes are lined with plastic. How would it not melt right? I created an image using Cricut and then used the Cricut Mini on the second heat temp. It’s easy to control in my hand. Didn’t use a heat press because I want to focus heat on the letters not the blank areas on the bag, don’t want to put heat where it’s not needed keeping the plastic liner in mind. Use a pressing pillow inside the bag behind what you’re heat pressing. Didn’t use a back and forth motion. I pressed down with light to medium pressure for 10 secs and then moved along the image until I hit every area. Even though I didn’t use cold peel htv, I waited a bit for it to cool since this jute/burlap has small spaces in the weave I wanted it to adhere well all around. I peeled away slowly and when the vinyl pulled away a bit, I pressed over the carrier sheet again, then let it cool. It came out pretty good. I wanted to see if it would work in a thin font. I’m pleased with the product. I’m taking swimming lessons so I use the bag for that. It holds a lot and of course water proof on the inside. Hope this helps! Bought the natural color bag. I would love more colors!
