Review on 💾 Toshiba Canvio Advance 1TB Black USB 3.0 Portable External Hard Drive - HDTC910XK3AA by Ryan Lawson

The hard drive itself works as advertised BUT the cable broke after 9 months and I thought the whole drive was bad. I would plug in the drive and the light would come on and I could feel it spinning, but it never got installed on my computers (OS X, Linux, and Windows). I thought it was a defective drive and was very dismayed at the warranty issues other people were having. Luckily I had a different cable and decided to try it and it worked! If you have problems with the drive, try a different cable before throwing it in the trash like I almost did!
