I've tried "wide" socks from other companies and they obviously don't know what "wide" calves actually look like. They always send me very tight socks for very thin legs! So I frantically searched for companies whose socks were specific and only for big, full calves. This photo caught my attention because my calves are not that wide. So if her socks fit those calves, I can wear them with no problem. I ordered the "X-Wide" even though my measurements are on the lower end of their size range for a very wide calf. They arrived today and are exactly the same thin socks I've received from all the other companies! They are probably made in the same place! I tried them on (just in case they magically stretch somehow) and it was a joke! I could barely put them on halfway up my 19 inch calf and they say they fit up to a 24 inch! They also say they fit shoe size 9-10. I wear a size 10 and the foot box was so long that a 12 inch foot could fit. I also had full ankles and the ankle area was the only thing that caught her photo! The ankle area of the sock was ridiculously tight. and very tight with very little give.
