excellent socks. I just had my second knee surgery and had to wear clothes over my thigh for the first few weeks. Luckily those socks weren't approved by my surgeon and now my white nylon stockings are going in the trash! I'm very sensitive to materials, so these 80% cotton socks are perfect for chalk.

I bought these because I have circulatory problems and was afraid of a long holiday flight. I'm overweight so I bought very wide shins but they were still too narrow. So I ended up cutting them at toe height and flipping them on top to make a band that works better. If you have large calves I would recommend going up the largest size.

I have 22 inch calves. Perfect for the NFL but not for a woman my size. I needed compression stockings but the others I've tried are too tight. This is a chance because they provided the dimensions. While the top band did need to be stretched, the socks are comfortable - so much so that I ordered two more pairs so I can wash one set, put on another and have one left over. We'll see how long they last but so far very happy with this purchase.

These are great socks and a little more comfortable for my large calves than some others I've tried. I wear a size 8 women's shoe and like all other brands, the part of the foot is too big / long. So when I put socks on, there's a lot of extra material hanging down in the toe area, so it's very uncomfortable in the shoe, everything is crumpled there. Just because someone has big calves doesn't necessarily mean they have big feet. I wish someone could come up with a pair of compression stockings
